Asset Mapping Survey

The nonprofit community throughout the Mother Lode area is rich and varied, and we need to hear from all of you!

SNS is renewing the vital statistics of our nonprofit sector for the Mother Lode similar to that collected through the “Asset Mapping Project” of 2003. Once again the data will be compiled (individual organizations will not be identified) and produced in a comprehensive report to be widely disseminated to our communities. This information will serve multiple purposes including informing our communities of the diversity and breadth of services provided by nonprofits.

Please help make this picture complete by telling us about your organization. All responses are valuable, no matter the size of your group or whether some questions seem not to apply…your work matters! Where you need to answer with an ‘N/A” or “0,” we will have more accurate information for the final report.

The first part of the survey will be summarized and used to inform our local policy makers of the value, scope, and contributions from nonprofits to our communities and the citizens of the tri-county Mother Lode region. The second part is new and gathers data on the need for volunteers in nonprofit groups.

Combined with other publicly available data, the report should provide valuable information to help you and others attract more funding resources to our area as well as to recruit and refer volunteers to your own organization.
